Kaley Cuoco Adopts Giant Elderly Dog After Losing Her Best Friend
At actress Kaley Cuoco’s home, there’s always more room for rescue dogs! She and husband Karl Cook have more pets than they’d like to admit, but the past year hasn’t been easy. They are recently say goodbye to Normantheir lifelong companion, and Petunia, Senior dog recently adopted.
For most families, that will deter them from adopting more, but animal lovers only wait about six months before bringing a new member into the family. Their latest addition is a 9 year old Mastiff full of love!
Meet Larry!
Cuoco spent 14 beautiful years with his Pit Bull named Norman. Her production company was even named “Yes, Norman Productions” after him. Losing Norman left one of the biggest holes in her heart, and she knew the only way to fill it was to help another dog in need.
Recently, Cuoco turned to Instagram to introduce her newest family member. She and Cook decide to open up to a giant big dog named Larry.
“When you know you know! Welcome to the family, Larry! ‘ Cuoco wrote on Instagram. “He’s a giant 9-year-old giant in love and we’re obsessed.”
In her post, Cuoco definitely thanks Paws for Life K9 Rescue, shelter photographer Rita Earl, and Larry’s loving foster family. Cuoco also shared a series of photos with the adorable new dog.
There’s always room for more
Cuoco’s home now has a goat, a rabbit, about 20 horses, several dogs, and more. However, she could never say no to more animals in need. Despite being a large dog, Larry has plenty of space to adjust and feel comfortable in his new home.
In Cuoco’s photos, it looks like Larry has been feeling at home with his family forever. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. Cuoco even joked that he was as big as a horse. Although she did share a photo of him meeting one of her horses, and compared to him he is very small. Cuoco also shared a photo of Larry walking with a few of her other dogs.
Older dogs are most often overlooked at shelters and rescues, but they can make the best companions. Cuoco adopted several dogs during their senior years, and she is a huge advocate for rescue dogs in general. If you’re looking to bring home a new furry family member, consider meeting older people first. They give the most love to give.
