Hello, brave astronauts! We’re excited to share some early details about our new title, the cinematic adventure game Deliver Us Mars, coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 soon.
As a studio, we’ve had an incredible journey over the last few years and we’re glad so many of you have appreciated our debut game, Deliver Us. The Moon in 2019, into his heart. We always knew that our next match had to be bigger and bolder than the one that came before. The scale of our ambitions as an ever-evolving team, driven by and inspired by some of the most memorable games to come to PlayStation over the past decade – no less Naughty Dog’s masterpiece, The Last of Us Part II.
Over the past few years, our team at Keoken have been quietly crafting Deliver Us Mars to combine the grandeur of a sci-fi epic that saves the world with a personal story and heartfelt motivations. . We wanted to choose a setting for the game that reflected our lofty goals for the project. In our reality, humanity is facing enormous challenges in the face of climate change. As space agencies (and a few wealthy individuals) have been really turning their eyes to Mars, so have we.
In Deliver Us The Mars, set ten years after the Fortuna mission in Deliver Us The Moon, humanity is closer to extinction than ever before. As part of the Zephyr crew, the protagonist’s goal is to retrieve the three colonial ships stolen from the Red Planet, to ensure the continued existence of humanity on Earth. Players will explore Mars as they uncover the source of a mysterious distress signal that led the crews there.
This next level of storytelling requires us to take the series to new frontiers. For the first time, we’ve got a cast in full motion capture to enhance the emotional impact of the story, and we’re bringing players new and improved gameplay mechanics that include the entire legacy system. download, inspired by PlayStation classics like Tomb Raider and Uncharted. On top of that, we’re delivering true next-generation visual fidelity with support for real-time ray-tracing shadows and reflections on PS5.
Mars is the next frontier, an uncharted world with limitless storytelling potential. You’ll get to explore the Red Planet’s surface like never before, encountering not only the dusty plains synonymous with our view of Mars, but also craters and icy canyons, as you unravel the mystery at the heart of the game.
We’ve always wanted to be astronauts. Sadly, we never succeeded, so instead we created a game in hopes of inspiring others to look up at the stars – who knows, maybe one of Those of you reading this could make the trip to Mars on your own one day!
