Josh Allen Injury Update: Bills QB in walking warm-up after loss to Buccaneers in inning
Bills quarterback Josh Allen said he was “quite sore” after injuring his left leg Sunday against the Buccaneers.
Allen played the full game in the Bills’ 33-27 overtime loss, but he didn’t have enough strength for a good portion of the fourth and innings. He suffered a tackle at the end of a 23-yard run to Tampa Bay 15 minutes into the fourth round. He limped back to the conversation and then hit a ground-breaking pass on the next inning to cut Buffalo’s deficit to 27-17.
The sideline coaches rebuked him and he continued the game, but he reached post-game media availability with a pair of walking boots.

He said there was no chance for him to leave the game. “There’s no way I’m going out,” he said sternly. He also said he is expected to undergo the tests on Monday, and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Allen is dealing with a “mild case of big toe.”
Allen finished the game with a 36 to 54 pass, 308 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He is also Buffalo’s top racer with 12 109 yards and 1 TD.

Backup QB Mitchell Trubisky started heating up on the sidelines after Allen was injured. He will be the first to replace if Allen has to miss the Bills’ Week 15 game against the Panthers at home. The former Bears player has only shot 28 times this season. He’s 5 for 7 for 28 meters and an interceptor.
