Jokić, Embiid, Antetokounmpo Finals for NBA MVP Award
Nikola Jokić be the finalist to win the third in a row NBA MVP award, with Joel Embiid And Giannis Antetokounmpo the players can stop him.
The top three voters for the tournament’s individual awards were announced on Friday, and the voting category features familiar names.
Jokić repeated the MVP title last year, with Embiid in second and Antetokounmpo in third. The Denver nuggets center could now become the first player to win three consecutive MVP awards since Hall of Famer Larry Bird from 1984-86.
Antetokounmpo also won consecutive MVP awards, in 2019 and 2020, along with the NBA Finals MVP when Milwaukee Bucks won the 2021 title. Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers center, who won their second straight scoring title, has never won.
The winners will be announced starting next week.
