During their tour, Depp joined Beck on guitar to cover classic hits like Marvin Gayeof “What’s Going On” and Jimi Hendrix“Little Wing”, as seen in posted videos from the performances. The duo also did their 2020 collaboration titled “Isolation”, a remake of John Lennon1970s song of the same name.
News of their upcoming album comes just a day after Depp won a defamation lawsuit.
Depp filed a lawsuit against Heard after she wrote the petition Articles washington in 2018. In his personal essay, Heard described himself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” She never mentions Depp’s name in the piece. Depp’s attorneys argued in court documents that Heard “made up the story in hopes of generating positive publicity and to advance her career.”
The documents go on to argue that Heard’s essay “depends on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a victim of domestic abuse and that Mr. Depp caused domestic violence against her.”
