Burrow spent the next drive of the Charger experimenting with different tape jobs on his fingers. He appeared extremely uncomfortable while dealing with the injury and tried to hold the ball and throw the ball.

So Burrow will continue to overcome the injury. That said, he couldn’t find a splint or glove that he was comfortable using to pitch, so we’ll have to see if that affects his move forward. are not.
Should Burrow be absent at any time, backup quarterback Brandon Allen will be the starter. Allen had a career 2-6 record at the start but completed 63% of his passes for 938 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions with the Bengals.
