JOBY has announced the SeaPal, their first waterproof case for smartphones, as well as a variety of accessories, including a 6-inch acrylic dome port and grip with a shutter release. Depth-rated to 10 meters/33 feet, the case is compatible with the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and various older phone models.
Created in partnership with water housing maker Aquatech, the SeaPal allows you to use your phone’s touchscreen as you normally would, and it has no physical shutter release or other controls, nor is a third-party app required.
Available from the JOBY website, the SeaPal costs $240, while the 6-inch dome and shutter grip retail for $200 and $160, respectively.
