Top in-house trends for 2022
For Brent, the act of organizing should be included on a daily basis — in an aesthetic way, of course.
Brent Top Organizational Habits To Develop This Year:
- I’ve always said this, but if it’s not quite functional or completely beautiful, get rid of it.
- Incorporate organization into your daily rituals and ceremonies. When it becomes part of your daily practice, your home will always be a tranquil environment.
- Integrate organizational elements inemuscle. Find beautiful wicker baskets for tissues or embrace the open shelving with chic pantry and utensils.

- Find a multi-use product that works for every area of your home. I love Grove Co. Cleaner Concentrate and Reusable Spray Bottle. All I had to do was add water to the cleaner concentrate and then work my way through every room in the house!
- Make cleaning practice something fun for the kids. Oskar and Poppy set and cleared their location settings every night at dinner and took responsibility. Again, the scent is huge for me. After cleansing, I always light incense or sage as a final layer of refreshment.
The “why” behind the partnership
I think it’s extremely important to think about what we invite into our homes. That is one of the reasons why I am an advocate for the Grove Company and its clean products. For this collection, I was inspired to create a line of products rooted in the “Critique of Art” for recovery from the holidays. Each piece is associated with opportunity and it is hoped that you will create your own daily rituals in your home while making it easier for you to live an environmentally conscious life.
About inspiration
Scent and space are an important part of my design process, so I spent many months working with Grove Co. to perfect scents for candles, incense and soaps. We have chosen both Himalayan Sea Salt & Sage as well as Eucalyptus & Cypress as the signature scents for this collection. For the look of the collection, we referenced materials and finishes commonly used in my design studio, like marble, smoked glass, and textured linens.
On his favorite product from the line
Every item in a house contributes to the overall design. That’s why I love Grove Co. X Jeremiah Brent Hydrating Hand Soap and Soap The Last Dish in our signature scents, Himalayan Sea Salt and Sage, combined with a reusable dispenser. We can take a household necessity and turn it into something beautiful. We put ours next to the kitchen sink on top Grove Co. X Jeremiah Brent Nested Marble Tray.
On how to incorporate mindfulness into your daily work
I love the idea that these products are what people will use to start and end their day. When something like a cleaning product smells so good and looks so high, your daily routine feels more like a ceremony than something on a to-do list. The scents in this collection transform any kitchen or bathroom into a space of calm and comfort, and I love that we were able to combine smell in this collection as well!
On the power of home rituals
I think the consistency of the rituals sets the mood and energy for the entire family, which then creates the mood and energy for our daily lives. I have a morning ceremony where I put on a playlist, light candles, and meditate — it helps me be more present with my family and work throughout the day.
