Jake Paul has never lacked confidence. The social media star turned pro has been enjoying her time in the ring to the fullest, racing to an undefeated record across four pro fights.

However, while his self-belief normally remains high, he is fully convinced that this Saturday night will be his best performance yet.

In front of what was expected to be a sold-out crowd at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, Paul was set to face former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. The two initially played tango four months before Woodley made his professional boxing debut. Despite his promise to the former MMA star at a distance, Paul was forced to settle for a decisive victory.

After the victory, Paul tries to get Woodley into the rearview mirror. The social media star agreed to the term by a bout with Tommy Fury, the half-brother of WBC heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury. Although Tommy was brimming with confidence, he was forced to withdraw from the match against Paul due to injury.

With Fury out of the picture, Woodley then stepped in. With only two weeks to prepare for his familiar foe, Paul is confident that this time, he will end his rivalry with Woodley once and for all.

“I’m feeling great. The best thing is I’ve ever felt like I have to fight,” Paul told a group of reporters. “I’m 110% confident.”

Despite winning their first contest, Paul was still disgusted by his performance. In particular, in the fourth round, Paul was almost pushed into the fifth row. During that time, Woodley made a clean forehand serve that sent Paul into the ropes. Though he eventually regained his composure before winning, Paul believes he is more likely to finish off Woodley in an explosive fashion.

In fact, when Paul completed a long and arduous training camp, he was fully convinced that Woodley would meet his death before the final bell rang.

“I think it happened in five innings. In the previous match, it was very easy to beat him but for some reason I stopped punching after my combos. This time, you’ll see me keep punching and that’ll take him out of there.”
