Nate Diaz said Jake Paul And KSI just go ahead and box each other as his legal situation plays out.
On Monday, the New Orleans Police Department issue arrest warrant for Diaz on suspicion of second-degree assault after an altercation last Friday was recorded on video. Diaz was seen strangling an unconscious man, Rodney Peterson, with a standing guillotine and dropping him to the ground.
Diaz (0-0) is scheduled to face Paul (6-1) in an eighth round match on August 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The fight will take place in the 185-pound weight class and is promoted by DAZN as a pay-per-view live.
Given Diaz’s legal situation, his battle with Paul could be in jeopardy. KSI, who beat Joe Fournier on May 13, offered as a backup, and Paul appreciate gestures on social media.
“Awesome. I accept you as a backup opponent,” Paul tweeted to KS. “The match is at 185. There is no rehydration clause. Stay fit and we’ll call you if needed. Thank you dear friend for being so humble and committed.
Diaz saw this and return fire with both men, suggesting they fight each other while he finds a way to fight the other.
Lol why don’t you let the scared cats just fight each other august
