Jaecoo Malaysia creates J-Club for owners – over 500 J7 AWD cars delivered to customers, followed by 2WD

Jaecoo Malaysia says delivery to customers J7 four wheel drive is taking place ahead of schedule. More than 500 SUVs have been delivered to customers so far, after First 500 units delivered to dealers earlier this month.

“We deeply appreciate the excitement of our customers who are looking forward to driving their dream Jaecoo J7 SUV home or venturing out on new roads. In addition to our commitment to on-time delivery, Jaecoo Malaysia is taking the time and effort necessary to ensure that all vehicles are of the highest quality, meeting stringent international safety standards,” said Chery Corporate Malaysia Executive Vice President Leo Chen.

Next up is the delivery of the 2WD version of the J7, which Jaecoo Malaysia says will arrive at dealerships ahead of its original September target date. The J7 is locally assembled in CKD form. Chery’s new factory in Shah Alam. It was Released on July 19.

Meanwhile, Jaecoo Malaysia has announced an owners club called J-Club. Customers are automatically enrolled and the benefits mentioned include service incentives, social activities such as luxury camping and car care workshops, exclusive invitations to artist collaboration events and auto shows, and even the opportunity to visit Chery’s factory in China.

The first J-Club meeting will be held on 7 September at Sentul Pavilion, KL. Members will be updated with the latest developments via email, WhatsApp, WeChat and the J-Club Facebook page.

Both the AWD and 2WD versions of the Jaecoo J7 come with a 1.6-litre turbo-four engine that produces 194hp and 290Nm of torque, mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission. About the same size as the Toyota Corolla Cross, the first Jaecoo for Malaysia is priced at RM138,800 for the 2WD and RM148,800 for the AWD – Full details and reviews here.
