IPCC Scientist Peter Kalmus Unglued (‘The Scientists’ Rebellion’ Is a Fool) – Enjoying that?

Climatic nuts do more or less harm to their cause than they help it. And their own words make them ridiculed and inappropriate.
enter Peter Kalmus, a climate scientist who makes a living at the expense of taxes. He spoke out about the April 6, 2022 “Scientist Uprising” event, where More than 1,000 scientists in 26 countries have recklessly arrested to “warn the world”.. ”
Kalmus glued his eyes to the entrance of the Chase Bank headquarters in Los Angeles and was arrested. The story is told here:
“The world’s scientists are being ignored and it has to be stopped,” said Peter Kalmus, a father of two and NASA climate scientist. “We will lose everything. We are not joking. We don’t lie and we don’t exaggerate. ”
Kalmus sent an emotional plea in front of the JP Morgan Chase building in downtown Los Angeles. He was arrested along with his colleagues who chained themselves to the bank’s door. Kalmus wrote a op-ed about his experience Because Guardians [excerpted below].
“If people could see what I see coming,” Kalmus wrote, “society would move into climate emergency mode and end fossil fuels in just a few years.”
The problem is that Kalmus is an outsider – a political scientist in the field of science. Rational, sober, open-minded scientists consider his ill-advised views to be inappropriate – and at odds with public policy in a rational world. He doesn’t understand fundamentals like energy density and discontinuity effects – and he doesn’t seem to want to assume the case for global warming and the benefits of CO2 emissions.

The Earth Incident is much worse than most people realize…. It’s so surreal that I often find myself scrutinizing science to make sure it’s really happening, a kind of science nightmare grip. Yes, it really is happening.
Of course he’s doing his paint job for us, not for himself….
I hate being Cassandra. I just want to be with my family and do science. But morally, I feel compelled to sound the alarm. By the time I switched from astrophysics to Earth science in 2012, I realized that facts alone were not enough to persuade world leaders to act….
Nothing worked. It is the eleventh hour and I feel horror for my children and horror for humanity. I feel deeply saddened by the loss of forests, corals and biodiversity loss. But I will continue to fight as hard as I can for this Earth, no matter how bad it gets, because it can always get worse. And it will continue to get worse until we put an end to the fossil fuel industry and the quest for exponentially more profits at the expense of everything else.
What can reason say to a Peter Kalmus?
And finally, avoid hunger strikes and self-immolations. Do not pull a David Buckel, please. And if your civil disobedience turns out to be a felony, please let the taxpayers do it in the best interest of us taxpayers.
