Update: Well, it looks like we’ve opened the floodgate! Ultra Dolphin Revolution has confirmed that it’s out of code for now, but don’t worry, the developer will be trying to get some more codes to give away dear Wii U fans. (Thanks to sunny to hold your head high!)

Original article: Ultra Dolphin Revolution, an indie developer that has created several games that are currently exclusive to the Wii U eShop, is giving away 128 downloadable codes for their last Wii U title, Captain U.

Although the Wii U closed earlier this week, you can still redeem the download code until April 3, around 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time. As a result, Ultra Dolphin Revolution has decided to share its work with the world and is broadcasting the code for Captain U on Twitter for both Europe and North America.

North American code start here for five tweetsand European codes follow in the next five tweets. Some of the codes in the tweets may have been redeemed, so if you want one, keep trying!

It’s an incredible gesture and another performance by the community — fans and developers alike — coming together to celebrate the Wii U and 3DS to share the titles and memories that make it so great. unique to these platforms.

Ultra Dolphin Revolution features ten games on the Wii U eShop, some of which are upgraded versions of previous releases. Many titles are inspired by classic NES platforms in both gameplay and visual style. (Editor’s note: we previously miscalculated the game Ultra Dolphin Revolutions on the Wii U eShop and have updated this article since)

As well as giving away codes for its games, Ultra Dolphin Revolution has also ordered a great piece of art to celebrate its titles on the Wii U. Work by game artist and illustrator Jade nothing lovely.
