Compatible with select Ikelite 200DL and 50DL underwater cases, the new baffle is easy to install via the M16 port and comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable that connects the port to your camera inside the case. Once installed, all you need to do is screw on the baffle cover and plug it in.
Obviously, not every case will have the space needed to plug a USB cable into the camera—Ikelite says a 200DL case for DSLRs or a 200DLM case won’t be compatible—and not every camera offers pass-through charging. The USB Charging & Data Transfer baffle is inserted into the M16 port of the Selective 200DL Underwater Case. The Hyper-Flex USB-C to USB-C cable connects the port to your camera on the inside of your case.
This allows you to attach a high-quality USB-C cable (3.0 or later). [not included] from the outside of your case to charge the camera and upload photos and videos to your laptop. Just change the waterproof cap on the bulkhead when you’re ready to dive.
Housing compatibility
Compatible with the following 50DL and 200DL Underwater Cases:
This baffle is not compatible with the Ikelite 200DL Underwater Case for DSLR or the 200DLM Underwater Case due to space constraints. We have not confirmed compatibility with any housing models except the ones listed above.
Space requirements
This baffle is suitable for M16 threaded accessory port.
The case must have at least 3/4″ free space between the USB-C port on the camera and the inside left side of the case (rear view).
The case should have a maximum of 4 inches between the USB-C port on the camera and the inner underside of the M16 port.
