Since the two-step method on this product makes the process quick and effective, there’s no need to apply multiple coats like with other mascaras. Although I have naturally long lashes, I always apply multiple layers to achieve the dramatic effect I want. With this one, only one coat is needed for voluminous lashes. I know the phrase “less is more” is a bit of a cliché, but that’s the motto of this product. Applying additional layers can cause mascara to clump, so best results will be with minimal amount of product. (This means less time in my makeup routine, which is a winning situation.)
