One of the ways we expect fashionistas to incorporate color into their looks is to add pretty pink nail designs to their nails. I catch up with Tricoci . Beauty Salon and Spa manicurist Village of Kameron to hear the latest on trending pink nail designs (and start planning my next nail appointment).
“I think pink nails are trending in part because the Pantone Color of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta, is in the red and pink family,” explains Lange. “We also saw the rise of pink when the Barbie movie came out this year.” Barbie doll, one of TikTok’s many aesthetic trends, highlights the name’s signature color, pink, while incorporating Y2K and ultra-feminine elements. Need a real life example? Paris Hilton walked the Versace Spring/Summer ’23 runway in a head-to-toe pink glittery outfit. Greta Gerwig’s Upcoming Film Barbie dollstarring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, has also sparked a clear return to interest in blush-toned shades for nail design.
Here are a few ways Lange recommends trying out trendy pink for your outfit. nail with pink chrome (also affectionately nicknamed ‘Strawberry Glazed Nails’ thanks to Hailey Bieber), or the French pink tip. She also sees a re-emergence of ombre nails, classic French manicures, and micro-designs.
