Hyundai Kona and i30 Sedan recalled
Hyundai Australia remembered 946 examples Later Kona And i30 Sedan because the error can lead to loss of power while driving.
“The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve sensor may have been contaminated with solder during the manufacturing process,” the manufacturer said in the recall notice.
“This could cause a short circuit in the sensor leading to loss of engine while driving.
“Loss of driving power can increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
