From the moment Huxley the Golden Retriever set his eyes on the Walkers Supreme Prawn Cocktail Crisps bag sitting on his mother’s tray table, he had a goal. Huxley will get his feet on chips one way or another.
Huxley’s human, a London-based photographer named Ursula, regularly posts photos and videos of her two beautiful Goldens (Huxley has a brother named Hugo). She shared these hilarious photos of her tenacious dog trying to buy some of her crisps on a train to Instagram.
Huxley has various attempts at snacking
The key to getting tasty snacks is through the use of small gaps between train seats. That gap was just big enough for him to poke his muzzle through.
At first, Huxley started with a simple approach with a sweet face. Incredibly, that didn’t work with the pretty girl. So he had to go in a different direction.
That’s when the tooth came out. Unfortunately for Huxley, his menacing teeth aren’t really that threatening. It’s so funny and cute.
The next few photos show Huxley stretching his long tongue in the general direction of the snack he was after. Alas, the distance between the chairs now proves to be limited for him. There’s only so much of his face that he can get past it.
Sadly, at least from the photos, none of these approaches end up unambiguously landing Huxley. It’s okay, he probably doesn’t need the sodium anyway.
