This forgotten child can’t stand the anxiety of separating his toys

If you have a dog (or more than one) at home, chances are you’ve witnessed some of the seemingly odd tactics they use to retrieve lost items. toy. For example, my childhood dog once begged me to let him out only to have him retrieve a cowhide he left at the door the day before.

Claire Cummings from Basingstoke, England encountered such a situation while driving. First, she noticed a lone stuffed pig on the sidewalk. Then she saw a sad brown and black dog leaning against the wall staring after it. Apparently, this dog was separated from Favorite toy.

In “Dogspotting“Facebook group Cummings shared a photo of the puppy being stopped by her for support. That post received over 29,000 likes, which is clearly deserved.

“Overcome this handsome guy who is waiting to get his pig back. Immediately turned the car around to give it to him for which he was very grateful.”

If you’re not familiar with Dogspotting, the team’s description tells you exactly what you’re missing:

“What is Dogspotting?
1. A sport and lifestyle of randomnessdog.
2. Classify the nature of the trace according to the set rules.
3. Assign points or share points for equal scoring.
4. A fun place to hang out with friends and enjoy the dogs. “

After her post gained attention, Cummings shared with The Dodo that the dog may be able to go to the pig on its own, but it must learn that it is not the right thing to do.

“He could easily jump over the wall he was leaning against to get to it but was clearly very well trained not to jump over the wall.”

Who knows how long the poor girl has been there on the wall, longing for her friend! He just refuses to break the rules.

Cummings has kept a Huskie at home on her own and even runs a dog walking company with her partner. In short, she is no stranger to the silly traits of dogs. “It’s nice to stop and help,” she said.

“We are huge animal lovers and would hate to think that he could just sit there waiting and no one would help.”

Cummings quickly informed her Dogspotting members that the dog, reunited with her toy, had not fallen or been injured. That is except for the mild emotional torment of their brief separation.

Fellow Dogspotters: keep an eye out for small dogs in distress. You can be just their day and the day of thousands of people enjoying your photos.
