How will you configure your 2024 Ford Mustang?
Since Launch of Ford Mustang 2024We’ve all been waiting for one thing: The moment we can finally put on our greasy little gloves. carOnline configuration of. Currently, the time has finally comebut it brings with it some mixed emotions.
See, I couldn’t build my ideal Mustang in this configuration. I can get close, putting the right exterior elements together to create a muscle car that looks badass, but the perfect powertrain will forever be out of my reach. That’s because the new car doesn’t offer the 2.3 EcoBoost engine with a manual transmission, making the possibility SCCA D Street rules the world a mere dream dreamed in a time past.
But, with that limitation, what can we build?
If you were me (which I doubt, but can’t completely rule out) you could build this: A more or less fully spec-packed Dark Horse Mustang, in Vapor Blue Edition Metallic first. I fell in love with this color on launch day, so there’s no way I would have outfitted my S650 with a worse color. It is just so good.
I also like the paint stripes on the hood, because I love the wide front stripes that extend across the roof and back into the trunk. I wish Ford offered it as a single piece of vinyl, but I’ll accept the three part setup offered on the Dark Horse.
As long as we’re throwing money at this car, why not add the Dark Horse Handling Pack? I’m sure the basic Mustang handles well, can afford it I Links are weak in any race situation, but I love a rear spoiler with a large stretcher flap. A single pack that adds that And a front splitter? Bellissimo.
The Dark Horse comes with an interior accented in blue, which, to be honest, I could take or throw away (the old STi did it better), but at least I’m glad it’s more than just color. boring black. Indigo may not be my favorite color, but at least it is One color. My only furniture pick is the Recaro bucket chair, because the stock options look a bit too flat for a narrow-minded person like me. I love being cuddled up in my sports cars.
It’s my ideal Mustang, put together for just the price – wait, $73,000? Jesus. Well, I can dream – and so can you. Jump in Ford’s configurationand kick off your weekend by showing us the ‘Stanngs you want to drive.
