How to turn off Siri notification notifications of AirPods (2021)


Some things are More annoying is when Siri hijacks your AirPods to read aloud a string of text messages while you’re listening to a funny podcast episode or a good song. Feature Allows Siri to announce notifications for iMessage, Reminders, and third-party apps (like Slack, Snapchat, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc.) through your AirPods, Beats, and CarPlay. You can also reply to notifications hands-free.

In theory, it sounds super useful, but for people who tend to get a lot of notifications at once (from things like busy group chats or Twitter replies), it can be frustrating. . While it’s not enabled by default, you may have accidentally turned it on via a pop-up window while pairing your new AirPods (or Beats) or when upgrading to iOS 15. How to turn off notifications

You can disable this feature with your iPhone or iPad. The ability to manage Siri notifications is scornful located in the Settings menu, but you can access it with a few simple steps.

  1. Open Setting and click Notify.
  2. Knock on Notice notice and disable this feature.

Then you are ready! You no longer have to worry about Siri infiltrating your AirPods with tons of messages, reminders, and any other alerts.

If you don’t want to disable this feature completely, you can disable the Specific Headphones option in Notifications when connected to. Instead, Siri will only announce notifications through CarPlay (if your car supports it). But you can also disable that setting. Here’s how to do it:

You also have the option to add a tile to the Control Center, allowing you to turn it on and off at will, without having to dig through the Settings menu. You can add cells by:
