5. Try Lash Primer: René recommends adding an eyelash primer, which can condition your lashes and create a longer-lasting lift with volume. Apply a coat of clear polish, let it dry completely and apply mascara.
6. Don’t pump the wand too much: “When applying mascara, it’s easy to slip off,” says René. “We all feel guilty about sticking our wands into tubes looking for more product.” “However, keep in mind that the method may actually be working against you. In doing so, you are also pushing more air into the tube, which will cause the product to dry out prematurely.”
