While these results set a high bar for any transferable points program, there is still some risk that the availability of the prize may change while you wait for the points to appear in your account. - Pause award bookings before transferring, if program allows.

- Have a backup plan. If your original itinerary is canceled due to overbooking, consider an alternative option (or options) so you can still book when your destination arrives.
If your original flight disappears, don’t panic. Remember that award availability changes frequently and can increase significantly as your departure date approaches. Check often and be prepared to act quickly when space becomes available.
