TMZ Sports released a video Wednesday night showing former NFL re-run Zac Stacy assaulting his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 5-month-old son. The assault took place at Stacy’s home and happened in front of his son.
Stacy argued with her ex-partner and continued to punch her in the head. After she fell on the couch next to their baby, Stacy grabbed her shirt and threw her across the room and the TV fell on her head as well.
While the woman was lying on the ground, Stacy appeared to throw something at her while she covered her face. He then forcefully picked her up and pulled her toward the couch while calling her “f — ing b—.” That’s where the footage of the attack ends.
The incident is believed to have occurred at 2 p.m. ET on a Saturday afternoon, every TMZ. The woman went to the hospital, where she was treated for a head injury as well as swelling and bruising. She filed an injunction against Stacy on Monday, in which she detailed the end of the assault that was omitted in the video.
“As I lay on the floor, he started screaming at me, telling me I was a saboteur. Then he lifted me off the floor and off his feet and my body slammed into the seat. of our son,” she wrote in the ban. . She then added, “I fear for my life and the lives of my children.”
Stacy left after that to avoid the appearance of law enforcement. He said “I love you” to their son on the way out.
TMZ has reached out to Stacy and his attorney for comment but did not hear back from them. The 30-year-old hasn’t played in the NFL since 2015. He enjoyed a three-year career with the Rams and Jets and saw his output drop rapidly from season to season.
Stacy briefly played against the Memphis Express during a brief stint in the AAF during the 2019 season before that league shut down. He hasn’t played since then.
