Sadako Yamamura, the main antagonist of the horror series Ringu, has started her own official YouTube channel. Kadokawa opened a YouTube channel on March 5, 2022, as part of an advertising campaign for Sadako DX movie. The first video shows Sadako going on a tour of a house. She also revealed future plans for content, including video game commentary and cooking. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Titled “Sadako Well Living,” the YouTube channel features the iconic horror character in a more idyllic setting. In the first video, Sadako introduces herself and states that the channel will show the “teenage girl” side of her character. Sadako then crawls out of the TV to tour her house. Notably, the iconic well from Ringu The film appears in the setting of her Japanese-style room.
In it, Sadako says that she plans to show herself doing many things in the near future. These activities will include playing video games, cooking, singing, and more of the usual stuff like morning routines and Q&A segments. As video games go away, Sadako is supposed to play the upcoming game Dead by daylight Ringu cooperation.

The Sadako DX the film will appear in Japanese theaters around the fall of 2022. Sadako’s YouTube channel will upload more videos in the near future.
