Honest review of Larry King’s My Nanna’s Mousse

If you asked me to try a volumising hair mousse a few years ago, I definitely (politely) declined. You see, me and the hair mousse weren’t always the smoothest. But before we dive into that, let me tell you a little bit about my hair.

I have quite a few, so you might be wondering why I would want to try a product that increases volume in the first place. Although my hair looks thick, the strands themselves are actually quite fine and my hair always tends to fall flat at the roots. So when I was in my twenties, I tried a hair conditioner or two and was disappointed by the amount of residual oil. Instead of adding volume, my hair feels greasy, a bit brittle, and really heavy, meaning the effect the product has on my roots is just the opposite of what I expected.

From then on, I decided to stay away from foaming mousses altogether and whenever I wanted a voluminous complexion. blow dry, I will have my hairdresser deliver the goods. However, I recently discovered that Larry King himself came up with his own hair mousse called My Nanna’s Mousse as a nod to his grandmother’s bouncy locks.
