follow tease Introduced by Boon Siew Honda a few days ago, the Honda Vario 125 2023 scooter model was officially launched in Malaysia for RM 7,080. The price includes insurance and there are three color options for the Vario 125 – Yellow, Blue and Red.
Use the same bodywork as Vario 150 and sold with its stable friend Vario 160 (RM 9,998), Vario 125 is equipped with a single cylinder engine, SOHC, liquid-cooled, with a capacity of 124.9 cc. Honda says the Vario 125 is capable of producing 11.5 hp at 8,500 rpm and 11.74 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.
Despite being a 125 cc scooter, the Vario 125 is equipped with features commonly found in 150 cc scooters. This includes LED lighting, keyless entry, a USB charging socket in the front trunk pocket and an anti-theft immobilizer.
Vario 125 wheels have a size of 14 inches, with tires 90/80 at the front and 100/80 at the rear. While it doesn’t come with ABS, the Vario has a hydraulic disc at the front and a mechanical drum brake at the rear with Honda’s hybrid brake system.
Suspension is done with telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock with adjustable preload holding at the rear. Other driving conveniences include a digital dashboard and 18 liters of storage under the seats.
