Honda Malaysia March promotion increase in advance, discount up to RM15k now – Models available 2021, 2022
We may currently be taking a lull between the celebration of the Lunar New Year that has ended and the beginning of the fasting month ahead of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, but Honda Malaysia’s monthly sales promotion campaign continues into March. Company “March On! The discounts” and “Splendid cashbacks” combine for a total savings of up to RM15,000, which is more than the amount up to RM12,000 “angpow” in February.
Naturally, larger discounts are available for cars built in 2021 and start at RM4,000 for the CR-V SUV. City’s B-segment sedan is discounted by RM5,000, RM1,000 higher than last month. The HR-V and BR-V are discounted by RM5,500 and RM7,000 respectively. It’s largely for the Accord – the D-segment sedan is yours for RM15,000 off, RM3,000 more than it was in February.
Even for some models made in 2022, the discount is bigger than what was offered last month (RM1,000 across the board, excluding the Accord, which gets a RM3,000 discount). For the month of March, the BR-V, CR-V and HR-V are all RM1,000 off, but the City discount doubles to RM2,000. The Accord’s 2022 discount is currently RM4,000.
No new Civic though – FE 11th generation is piping hot out of the pan and requires no extra incentives. Launched in January, the Civic now comes with a turbo engine and Honda Sensing as standard worldwide. The C-segment sedan is priced from RM 125,635 for the E version to RM 144,350 for the new RS version.
So, if you’ve got your eye on a new Honda, here’s a good chance to make some savings from sales tax exemption valid until June 30 this year. All models of Honda Malaysia are locally assembled CKD in Melaka and all models are 100% exempt from SCT.
