Homeless man takes care of puppy with broken leg until help arrives
Paw Squadron, an animal rescue organization in Bulgaria, received an emergency call about a puppy hit by a car. She was alone with a broken leg after the incident, and she was terrified. Luckily, a homeless man saw the puppy in pain and wanted to help her. He didn’t have many resources for the puppy, but he did what he could to comfort her and help her heal.
An emergency call brought rescuers to an abandoned house where the man and the puppy were. At first, it seemed that no one was at home, but then they saw a little movement.
Rescue team Save the puppy
Rescuers with Paw’s Squad Investigate every room of the house with no luck. But then, in the last room they entered, they saw the tiny head of a puppy poking out of the blankets. The puppy limped over to the rescuers, and they found her injured leg had a wooden splint that the homeless man had made for her.
The homeless man was not at home when rescuers picked up the puppy, but later found him at the hospital. Hopefully someone who knows him can tell him the puppy is safe. No one knows who crashed the car into the poor puppy.

The puppy fell asleep in the car on the way to the vet. She’s been through a lot, so she finally feels comfortable enough to begin her break. After a physical examination, the veterinarian determined that the puppy was in good condition. Her leg was healed by a homeless man’s brace. She can walk surprisingly well on her feet, considering all she’s been through.
On the road to recovery
After a vet visit, the rescue team took her to see several other dogs at the foundation, including a small dog with whom she became immediately attached. While playing with her new friends, she also learns that she loves to chew on her shoes, even when everyone is wearing them. She also discovered the excitement of belly rubs.
With the vet’s approval, the volunteers comfortably bathed the puppy, possibly her first time. She was very well behaved throughout this process. She doesn’t squirm or make any sound. Then her stomach rumbled, so she had a good dinner.
When she was healthy and ready to start a new adventure, volunteers helped her find the perfect permanent home. This puppy is just one of many they have rescued, and they rely heavily on donations in these missions. So if you want to help Paw Squadron you can donate on their website.
