Homeless man standing outside Walmart begging for help with his dog, woman comes to his rescue

Despite the criticism, many homeless people still own animals. This is not a discussion of that. Only when a homeless person puts their pet in danger does the argument survive; most of the time, they don’t. They go without letting their pet have a steady diet, stay warm and have adequate shelter.

Wilma Frice, from Houston, Texas, observed a person outside a Walmart with a sign that read: “Injured dog, need help.”

The sign broke her heart. Patrick, a homeless man, was there alone, begging for help. He does not ask for food or money for himself. He is looking for help for his best friend, Franklin, who has been in the pound because he cannot raise $120 to free him.

Frice told People.com: “He seemed like a nice guy, with a gentle soul but had a difficult life. The look in his eyes was despair; he looks like a big kid who just lost his puppy.

After receiving the money from Wilma, Patrick posted the following on Facebook. Her post said:

“I was really shocked that he was such a great man and Franklin was a great dog. I did this because I wanted someone to do it for me. I’ve worked for homeless animals all my life and dedicated my life to them. We all can. in his situation it’s just a blink of an eye and you never know someone’s plight or what’s going on in their life, so I’m not a judgmental person and I never judge someone over the cover of their book until you put yourself in their shoes. you don’t know someone who has been through what you should always pay if you can because like i said at a glance you could be in the same situation i know how hard i struggled every day day just to make sure animals have everything and will never return to the streets while they are waiting for their permanent home and i have been blessed in my life with unconditional love sue all the homeless animals.”
