Hall of Fame coach Jerry Hollendorfer has reached an unconditional settlement in a lawsuit against Del Mar that was filed after the Southern California track originally banned him from running there at the start of the 2019 summer meeting.

Last week, Hollendorfer announced that he would focus on directing a small competitive stable at Racetrack Los Alamitos and Del Mar and his former assistant Dan Ward will take over the training of the 29 horses that were with him at Monmouth Park.
