Henry Ruggs agrees to 3-10 years in prison for DUI . case
Henry carpet, 24, agreed to a plea agreement with prosecutors in his DUI case. Now, he faces between 3 and 10 years in prison, depending on the judge’s next move, TMZ report.
On Tuesday, the former Raiders star and his attorneys revealed details of the deal at a Nevada courtroom hearing. Ruggs agreed to plead guilty to one felony DUI resulting in death and one misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. The charges stem from a deadly 2021 Las Vegas car crash in which he was involved.

Ruggs spoke at the hearing, agreeing with the details of the plea agreement.

The judge will rule on the settlement at another hearing next week
Next week, a judge will rule on the settlement at another hearing. If the judge disagrees with the details, Ruggs’ attorneys say the agreement allows their client to withdraw his plea and proceed with a trial.
Ruggs’ attorneys, David Z. Chesnoff and Richard A. Schonfeld said the plea “is the first step towards a fair resolution of this issue.”
“We look forward to being closed to all parties involved.”

Ruggs originally faced 46 years in prison, was immediately cut from the NFL
As previously reported by shade room, Officials initially charged Ruggs with four felonies and one misdemeanor in this case. Prosecutors said he crashed his Corvette into the back of Tina Tintor’s car, killing her and her dog. He was said to have been drunk at the time.
Prosecutors say Ruggs was traveling at a speed of 158 MPH before the collision, with a blood alcohol concentration more than double the legal limit.
In December 2021, Shade room reports that Ruggs faces up to 46 years in prison related to the charges.
As the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Raiders immediately disqualified Henry after the crash, and he hasn’t stepped on the NFL field since.
