English version of Red Sky on its way, courtesy of the publisher Yostar Games. The announcement was made at Anime Expo 2024.
Red Sky was first released in 2022 to critical acclaim. This free-to-play role-playing game stars Ruka Kayamori, a former singer who now fights for humanity against a mysterious force known as The Phage. Ruka and her teammates have access to powerful weapons and abilities known as Seraphim, which are the only thing that can stop The Phage. The game features turn-based battles, with players choosing a team from up to 48 characters, while the story is told through visual novel sequences.
ONE Full trailer for the game’s English release was revealed at Anime Expo 2024. No release date has been confirmed for this release, nor have any platforms been announced. However, the game was released in Japan for PC, iOS, and Android, so it’s likely that these will be the same platforms when it releases for a Western audience.
Red Sky developed by Key and Wright Flyer Studios, while Yostar Games will release the English version of the game. This is the latest work from Jun Maeda, the creator of the visual novel Air And Clannadas well as the writer for Heartbeat of Angels cartoon. Red Sky also have one event of interference with Heartbeat of Angelsin which three characters from the anime appear in the game.
English version of Red Sky will be released on a date yet to be confirmed.
