‘He looks ready for a big run’ – Watch ITV Outsiders 22-1 & 20-1 Saturday by Owen

Saturday’s race is something to enjoy, with Cheltenham is the jewel in the crown of an electric day. The feature race is Paddy Power Gold Cup, the highly competitive 3rd place handicap is usually settled by rank. We also have ITV Racing are from Lingfield, which held a pair of listed races, later Churchill shares.

We’ll have horse racing tips for all the action, including my 25-1 tip for the Paddy Power Gold Cup. Other than this feature, two other outsiders in Cheltenham caught my eye. They seem to have strong claims with greater odds and you can find all of my analysis below.

Henry Daly’s horses are in good shape right now and I’m ready for a chance to Go to the stars (January 22) the result is. He is a man of inconsistent form, as evidenced by the fact that he made four appearances last season. In one finish, however, he beat Ludlow in a race similar to this, and he’s just over 3 pounds taller.

He will be ridden by Alice Stevens, who claims seven pounds and teamed up with Henry Daly’s Lily Glitters for the win earlier this month. He’s been in form on galloping tracks, which helps matters and he’s also gone well on better surfaces. Three of his four wins have gone to confirmed riders and if in a race day this rating will not be a barrier to success.

We haven’t seen him hurdle since 2019, but Visa A Vis (20-1) is making a very attractive mark for his handicap debut in the field. Those two races in 2019 were promising, clashing Hill Sixteen and Storm A Birth that spring. With horses ranked at 130 and 139 respectively, it’s not hard to see why I’m excited with an opening score of 119 for Neil Mulholland’s charge.

It is true that I am a bit concerned about the recent lack of activity in the field, but his recent dismal form has shown he still holds a lot of potential. He played well on handicaps in the high ratings in the ’70s and that supports the theory that a 119 score is fairer. Jamie Moore is in solid form and with perfect conditions he looks ready for a big run.
