ITA Stallions and Service Auction Launching Dec. 15

The Indiana Purebred Alliance Creatures and Services (ITA) Auction launches Wednesday, December 15 with two days of previews on Starquine.com, and then start bidding online at 10 a.m. EST, Friday, December 17 through 5 p.m. EST on Monday, December 20. Top stallions from Florida , Indiana and Kentucky were introduced along with services such as board, transportation, marketing, and veterinary services. The event will be held on Starquine.com.

The first SSA ITA raised more than $36,000, with all proceeds going toward the care, education, and promotion efforts of Indiana Thoroughbred industry. ITA is on a mission to be on top of the 2020 total so that it can help further efforts in the horse industry in Indiana.

“Holding our auction before the holiday season is the perfect excuse for last-minute gift shopping and tax deductions in advance,” said Christine Cagle, ITA Security and Service Auctions President. Last year.

Funds from the 2020 auction are being used to support the launch of a first-ever retirement program called Broodmare Bunch, which helps potentially at-risk broodstock find homes after the collapse. Their breeding is over. Tri-State Thoroughbred Rehab and Rehoming, Inc., has received funding to help less desirable horses retire from racing who may have physical or mental problems that need to be rehabilitated prior to retraining.

“While the ITA is a group of thoroughbred breeders and owners, we understand that our mission is to ensure racehorses can transition into new lives and careers post-race,” says Cagle. ,” Cagle said. “This is a massive fundraiser that we’re on, and all the money goes towards a greater good.”
