Harmony Auto Launches BYD Hartamas 3S Center – Service and Spare Parts Operations to Begin in Q4 2024
Chinese manufacturer BYD has opened the BYD Hartamas 3S (sales, service and spare parts) center at Hartamas Shopping Center in Kuala Lumpur, marking the entry of car dealership group Harmony Auto. based in China into the Malaysian market.
The facility occupies approximately 3,230 square feet at one end of the Hartamas Shopping Center — which once housed a furniture and home decor store — behind the center’s parking lot and entrance. Shop along Jalan Sri Hartamas 1.
The brand’s 3S center is currently operating as a sales outlet, while service and spare parts operations will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, with sales and service operations occupying the upper floors above the showroom. The cars are part of the brand’s model lineup, including Dolphin, Chap 3 And Seal is on display.
Six parking spaces will be located in front of the showroom and these will be accompanied by four DC chargers for use by BYD customers. Meanwhile, inside the building, prominent in this space is a car display area that can accommodate up to six cars, a customer waiting room, a discussion area as well as a new car delivery yard.
BYD Asia Pacific President Liang Xinyue said: “The opening of a BYD Hartamas store in a mall not only brings new vitality to the Malaysian market but also gives new impetus to the introduction of green tourism of Malaysia”. to meet customers’ needs for green transportation.
Harmony Auto signed a strategic partnership with BYD in 2023 and the automotive service group operates new energy vehicle sales and service stores in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Australia, Japan as well as other Asia Pacific regions and countries, with plans to expand its presence in Europe, according to its published statement.
As of the end of last year, Harmony Auto had 80 authorized dealers worldwide, including 14 luxury brands operating in China, where it has a service network spanning 40 cities.
