GWM Tank 300 Malaysia Launched Mid-July – First 300 Buyers Get Lifetime Engine Warranty, 5 Years Free Service
Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia has just announced that the first units of Tank 300 has now arrived in the country and the off-road SUV is ready for launch mid-July, with deliveries to begin shortly after, according to the plan.
EQUAL previously indicatedThe Tank 300 will arrive here as a CBU and will be offered with a non-hybrid 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder petrol engine. This engine produces 220 PS (217 hp or 162 kW) and 380 Nm of torque, and drive is provided via an eight-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed part-time four-wheel drive system. , Electronic Control.
Technical highlights include an all-terrain control system with nine driving modes, a 23.1° ramp angle and a maximum gradeability of 70%, along with a maximum wading depth of 700 mm. Inside, cabin highlights include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen as well as Nappa leather seats.
Standard equipment includes a nine-speaker Infinity audio system, automatic air-conditioning and double-glazing, among others. Final pricing has yet to be revealed, but expect the SUV to cost around RM250,000.
As a token of appreciation, GWM will offer the first 300 Tank 300 customers a free five-year or 100,000km maintenance package as well as an unlimited-mileage engine and transmission warranty, although this warranty package only applies to the original purchaser of the vehicle. The company added that these first 300 customers will also receive a mystery reward.
