ONE Tank GWM 300 rolled down a steep 4×4 track in China and emerged looking slightly worse to wear.
In a video posted by China All-terrain Driver Association on YouTube, we can see the Tank 300 start rolling before climbing a dirt hill.
Everything seemed to be going according to plan until the car was halfway through.
The driver accelerated, and appeared to have spent some time in the air and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer straight into a parallel line.
Then the Tank 300 clamps the hill separating the tracks causing the cart to roll down the hill.
It is not clear if the driver was injured, but it appears that the exterior of the vehicle was not damaged much.
The video ends with bystanders opening the driver’s side door where the airbags have deployed.
The 300 is the first vehicle of GWM’s rugged off-road brand, the Tank, although it will be sold here as the GWM Tank 300.
Gasoline-powered GWM Tank 300 models have already reached dealers in Australia, although deliveries of the hybrid have yet to begin.
Gasoline-powered GWM Tank 300 has 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine manufacture 162kW power and 380Nm torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Although GWM has not announced the total power output of the hybrid system in Australia, the company’s global website claims 224kW and 640Nm of power output and a 0-100km/h time of 7.9 seconds. .
It features electronically controlled mechanical front and rear differential locking, a Tank Turn function to reduce revs, and a crawl mode.
