Good Smile Company uploaded a 15-minute video detailing the making of its Nendoroid Zagreus from Hades. It includes everything from deciding on the concept art of the figure based on the original material to the actual sculpting process. While this video only deals with Zagreus, it does provide insight into how Good Smile Company approaches creating and selling its characters.

In the interview, Creative Producer Mari mentioned that because of the Japanese influence in HadesAesthetically, it’s easy to transfer his face onto a Nendoroid. After deciding what the Nendoroid would look like, the team started sculpting and tweaking it as needed. The team also holds meetings to discuss the production process as well as any changes they may need.
Pre-orders for the Zagreus Nendoroid are Open until March 9, 2022. It has a release window of October 2022 for Japan and December 2022 for North America. The Nendoroid will come with the Stygian Blade, Bloodstone and Nectar as optional parts. In WonHobby 35, Good Smile Company revealed that a Nendoroid of Thanatos are from Hades is also in development. Its journey from illustration to figure will likely be like Zagreus’.
Hades currently available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows PC. The Nendoroid will be available in October 2022 in Japan and December 2022 in North America.
