Google’s new AI Search is rolling out to some users. Here’s how to get access
At Google I/O, the tech giant announced some long-awaited projects artificial intelligence upgrade to its platforms, including Google Search. The new search with AI, called the Search Innovation Experience (SGE), will include AI-powered snapshots useful for everyday queries, shopping, etc.

At the event, Google added that SGE will be made available in Search Labs, a new program for accessing early trials, in the coming weeks. On May 25, Google started rolling out SGE to users on the email waiting list.
How to join the Search Labs waitlist
If interested, you can sign up for the Search Labs waitlist today. This is the way.
Go to Google Home Search Labs where you will be given the option to sign up.
If you see the error message “Search Labs is currently unavailable for your account,” it’s probably because you’re signed in to your company’s Gmail account. After signing out of your company email, you’re ready to move on to the next step.
Once you’re on the home page, you’ll want to click the blue “Sign In” button in the upper-right corner. Sign in with your personal Gmail account.
Once logged in, you will be taken to a page where you can actually join the waitlist just by clicking the “Join Waitlist” button. When you do, you’re ready.
Now that you’ve joined the waitlist, all you have to do is wait. Be sure to regularly check the emails associated with the account you used to join the waitlist. This is how you will be notified if you have access.
