“Laker, a golden retriever, was is having epilepsy since he was about 3 months old. Laker was diagnosed with epilepsy by a canine neurologist at about 6 months old and was put on anti-seizure medication. Since then, his seizures have been better controlled. Occasionally, he will have episodes of running and crying with extreme confusion. These seizures are called psychomotor seizures.”

“I recently purchased a Furbo dog camera and it caught Roxy, our Catahoula cur, stopping Laker from an episode. She is not trained to do this but these two dogs have a bond like I have never seen. They check in on each other throughout the day and really love each other. Roxy is protective of all of us in the house so it is no surprise that she helps him but it is still a blessing and a surprise that she can do so.”
