A Massachusetts mother thinks she Amazon The account was hacked upon learning that it was her child who charged the $5,000 fee.
Jessica Nunes learned of the 5-year-old’s shopping preferences after dozens of packages were delivered to her doorstep, according to WBNS.

Original items are non-returnable, but Amazon made an exception upon learning of the situation
Lila’s orders arrived not long after, thanks to Amazon’s two-day shipping. Nunes added that the items are “originally non-returnable.”
“Originally these were actually non-returnable, but I contacted Amazon at 2am and I said, ‘Please, is there anything we can do?'” Nunes told the store. .

Thankfully, Amazon made an exception and sent Nunes a return label. She can also cancel orders for cowboy boots before they leave the warehouse, however, it’s too late to do that for the “giant two-seater Jeep”.
“We still have a giant two-seater Jeep coming in that I can’t cancel my order, but they’ll let me return it,” Nunes said.
The mother uses the incident as a teachable moment for her precious little girl
Nunes says that she doesn’t punish Lila outright but instead uses it as a teachable moment, and goes on to say that “if she behaves properly and does some housework… maybe we should. I can buy her a bike more suitable for her age.”
