Regina King’s son Ian, 26, committed suicide. . . Regina is ‘DEVASTATED’. . . Pray for her!!
Ian Alexander Jr., son of actress/director Regina King, has passed away. And MTO News has confirmed that he is suspected of having committed suicide.
Ian’s 26th birthday is Wednesday.
“Our family is devastated to the deepest extent by the loss of Ian,” Regina said in a statement. “He is such a bright light who cares so much about the well-being of others. Our family is respectful during this private time. Thank you.”
Ian is the only child of Regina, whom she shares with her ex-husband, record producer Ian Alexander Sr.
MTO News spoke to one of Regina’s lovers, who told us that Ian suffered from mental health issues for most of his adult life. The insider, who was devastated by the news told MTO News, “Regina loves that boy more than her life, she was devastated.. We all need to pray for her.”
