Germany: The African-American community has a ‘voice’ in politics
A new coalition government was formed to take over Germany.
Saliou Gueye, a mayor, and Mirabelle Mayack, a member of the CDU political party, are among a million people of African descent living in the country.
They spoke to the BBC’s Nicolas Negoce about how they hope their voices can build ties between Germany and Africa.
