Elric brothers and their friends will be launching their smartphones soon. Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile has a release date in Japan and is August 4, 2022. The release follows a round of closed beta testing in March 2022 [Thanks, 4Gamer!].
Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile Based on the popular manga and anime series created by Hiromu Arakawa. It’s a strategy RPG with gacha elements, and players can role-play for different characters from the franchise. Battles are turn-based and turn-based. Characters can use different attacks and unleash flashy ultimate techniques inspired by their actions in the story. Along with a pre-release stream, Square Enix uploaded a trailer focusing on the various characters’ final attack animations.
This is one that focuses on the Elric brothers, Winry, Izumi Curtis and Sig Curtis. Other final compilation trailers focus on characters like Roy Mustang and his subordinates, Soldiers of Amestristhe Homonculiand more.
According to Square Enix, pre-register for Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile pre-release topped 1 million. That means all players will get some bonus at launch. These include special tickets to secure SR and SSR characters, in-game resources, and enough premium currency for 17 reels on the gacha. Players will also get Winry, a rare SR-unit, for free. Players can claim these launch bonuses from August 4 to October 3, 2022. Additionally, a social media contest is running until just before its release, giving players the chance to win. Give fans a chance to win a signed illustration by voice actors Romi Park and Rie Kugimiya, who played Edward and Alphonse Elric in the anime and games.
Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile released on August 4, 2022 for iOS and Android devices in Japan. No international release has been announced yet.
