Square Enix announced some changes will be made to the full version of Harvestella as a result of feedback from the demo. Most of this involves shortening the time you’ll have to spend on certain tasks, such as loading and fishing. It will also fix the UI to save and autosave There is also new information about Winter Location. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Here is the full list of changes from the demo version that will appear in the paid version of Harvestella:
- Reduce time elapsed on world and field maps
- Shorten the time until you succeed in fishing
- Cooldown reduction when changing jobs
- Increase the normal attack speed of mage class
- Some loading times have been shortened
- Added a warning sequence when your character’s HP is low
- Changed the UI of save and autosave
- Fixed some bugs
In the demo, doing one step will take about ten minutes of your time. This means that a large portion of your day will be lost if you don’t go to your location in person. Some of the other requests in the answer include more character customizations and location names on the world map.
Square Enix also revealed some information about the Winter Location: The Holy Capital Argene. The Winter Seaslight is located in a Divine Cave near Argene, and in order to enter it, one needs to have “Flos-Indulgentia”. The characters you will meet in Argene include Brakka and Shrika.
A new number mechanical includes Fairy Orders, which will grant you farming privileges when you complete their request. Farming perks include a water sprayer and Faeries that will unlock water and cave biomes. Another mechanic will join Harvestella will be FEARs, which are powerful roaming enemies that can drop valuable accessories.
Harvestella will launch on November 4, 2022 for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
