Bob Dole, a former United States Senator and Republican Presidential candidate, passed away Sunday morning at the age of 98, The Elizabeth Dole Foundation said.
Dole has been diagnosed had stage four lung cancer earlier this year.
Dole served as a U.S. senator from Kansas for nearly 30 years.
