The former model said Cosby drugged her at a restaurant before assaulting her at his house

In the suit, the 80-year-old describes meeting Cosby at a Los Angeles coffee shop about 54 years ago. At the time, Valentino was said to be mourning the drowning death of his 6-year-old son.

Bill Cosby, she said, approached her while she was crying and ended up offering to pay for a spa treatment for Valentino and a friend. He then allegedly provided a chauffeur-driven car to take the women to dinner at a steakhouse.

During dinner, Valentino’s lawsuit says, Cosby gave both women a pill of unknown origin, saying: “Take this…it will make you feel better, it will help We all feel better.”

The AP report doesn’t elaborate, but it appears that both women took the pills provided. After dinner, Cosby is said to have driven both women to his house. After entering the house, Valentino said she passed out on a couch. Shortly after waking up, Cosby allegedly sexually assaulted his friend.

He then turned to Valentino, also attacking her while she was unable to fight back, allegedly due to the effects of the drug. Valentino said Cosby “had forced sex.”

It is not clear what happened after the alleged attacks or whether either of the women contacted Bill after the incident.

Victoria Valentino wants the actor to be tried and cut the check for assault

Her lawsuit is said to require Cosby to undergo a jury trial over the assaults. In addition, Victoria wants “unspecified punitive damages,” according to AP.

Valentino is one of more than 50 women who have accused Bill of sexual crimes, including rape, sexual assault and harassment, since the start of the #MeToo movement.

He was arrested in 2015 and underwent two trials – the first ended with the jury being hanged and the second resulted in a guilty verdict on three felony counts of indecent assault in 2015. 2019. He was sentenced to between three and ten years in state prison.

Evidence used in both trials included a 2005 affidavit in which Cosby admitted to giving women quaaludes pills. However, his lawyers later argued that he had given that testimony in a civil case with the promise that he would not be subjected to criminal persecution, according to the court. Vulture.

Then, in May 2021, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the felony conviction due to that “non-prosecution agreement.” Today, Cosby remains a free man.

However, in June 2022, a jury declared him liable in a civil sexual assault case initiated by Judy Huth, who said that Cosby sexually assaulted her in 1975 when she was 16 years old. The jury awarded Judy $500,000 in damages with no punitive damages. Judy is believed to be the first of Cosby’s accusers to get a civil case trial.

It looks like Victoria may be aiming to be the second accuser to get a jury trial. She’s suing under a new California law that omits the statute of limitations on sexual abuse allegations.
