Ford remembering it Mustang due to a fuel line issue that the company says does not pose a safety hazard but could cause the vehicle to violate emissions regulations.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the low-pressure fuel supply line may not meet specifications,” the company said in the recall notice.
“This could result in the vehicle experiencing fuel vapors outside the requirements of the Emissions Standards Regulations.
“There are no safety hazards associated with this recall and the defect will not affect the vehicle’s performance.
“Vehicles do not comply with Australian Design Rule 79/04 – Emissions control for light vehicles.”
