Ford Mustang Mach-E EV in Malaysia – Premium AWD from UK, 351 PS/580 Nm, range 549 km, RM450k
The Ford Mustang Mach-E has arrived in Malaysia, but the all-electric SUV has yet to arrive through official channels. The units you see here are parallel imports, brought in by vehicle importer G-Mart Corporation.
Three units are available, all range versions extending Premium AWD to UK specification. Fitted identically, the dual-engine Mustang Mach-E examples are all priced at RM450,000 each, with G-Mart claiming they come with a 5-year warranty.
In terms of specs, the Premium AWD packs a 98.7 kWh battery (installed capacity, with rated available power around 91 kW), which gives it a range of up to 549 km (WLTP). This is a bit less than the nearly 600 km range available on the single-engine ER Premium RWD variant.
The AWD’s engine setup delivers 346 hp (351 PS or 258 kW) and 580 Nm, with performance figures including a 0-100 sprint time of 5.8 seconds and top speed. 179 km/h max. For comparison, the single-engine Premium RWD has 290 hp (294 PS or 216 kW) and a slower century sprint time of 7.0 seconds, despite identical torque.
In terms of charging capabilities, the Premium AWD Mach-E supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW, and at full charging speed, users will be able to add up to 106 km of range to the battery in just 10 minutes, with approx. It takes 45 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80% state
Standard kit includes a 15.5-inch SYNC 4A vertically oriented central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, and adjustable front seats. 8-way power, wireless mobile phone charging and hands-free rear trunk as well as a 360-degree camera.
